As part of their MinExpo offerings, Caterpillar had multiple kiosks on the showfloor providing information on optimizing various aspects of mining operations, including Drilling, Hauling, Loading, Material Management, and Underground Operations. The copy was provided by Caterpillar, and meant to cycle through the many benefits of optimizing your mining operation.
The styleframes and initial concepting for these animations were created by the amazing Liane Hunter, with the final animations and iterations created by myself. Each animation follows the same structure, with variations in copy based on the different optimized mining operations.
These animations were so successful that they earned the special attention and thanks from the head of the entire MinExpo 2024 project.
